BANJARMASIN - Soon the citizens of banua will enjoy the birth of a new icon of banua, a bridge, unique, beautiful and attractive. Why iconic? Because the main span of the bridge is designed using a cable stay, single buffered. โฃ โฃ Cable Stay bridge is a bridge that uses high-strength cables as a hanger that connects the girder to the tower. โฃ โฃ Now the cables stretched, as if lifting the bridge body like a curve. That is what has been named as a bridge with a curved structure that was first built in Indonesia. From the design, it looks very unique, beautiful and futuristic โฃ Administratively, the Alalak Bridge stretches over the Alalak River, North Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City, the capital of South Kalimantan province โฃ Alalak Bridge is presented to replace the function of "Kayutangi Bridge 1" as the main link of the capital city of Banjarmasin with various regions in South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan. โฃ โฃ Kayutangi 1 Bridge is considered to be old, inedible for 30 years and no longer able to accommodate the latest volume of load traffic on it. โฃ โฃ Later, this bridge will be crossed by vehicles with a maximum tonnage of 10 tons. Stronger than the old bridge Kayutangi 1 which only holds less than 8 tons. Built with earthquake resistant construction, and the service life of up to 1 century the bridge is targeted to be completed in December 2020, 3 months faster than the target in March 2021.โฃ โฃ This bridge was built using funds from State Sharia Securities (SBSN) worth Rp. 278 billion. โฃ โฃ The bridge was built by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing Directorate General of Highways through the XI Region National Road Implementation Center (BBPJN). Done by a state-owned contractor, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk-PT Pandji (Joint Operation / KSO) with a multi-year work scheme.rel
