The Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (BPP HIPMI) raised its complaint about Syekh Ali Jaber, who suffered a stab wound in the right shoulder and is being treated at Puskesmas Bandar Lampung.
According to the Chairman of BPP HIPMI Mardani Haji Maming, the perpetrators of attacks on religious leaders were being prosecuted legally. He asked, as heavy as possible the attacker to the scholars.
“The attack is clearly an act that can invite conflict in the community. Such an act can incite public discomfort, can interfere with the implementation of worship. So, whoever he is, whether an individual or a group, we warn that the government must act decisively. “No matter who you are, how hard it is to give this action,” said Maming, in a written statement in Jakarta, Monday (14/9/2020).
According to him, attacks on religious leaders had disturbed public peace. Acts that can result in the spread of the Sara issue, actions that can interfere with the implementation of worship. “Whoever did that, whether it was an individual, whether a group, or masterminded by some of our groups gave a hint that it was an act that was not justified by law,” he said.
